The locally famous Cats On Holiday are making their way around Northeast Ohio, and are coming to LakewoodAlive’s 2019 Front Porch Concert Series at 7 p.m. this Friday, August 9.
Sponsored by Bentley Wealth Management of Raymond James, the Front Porch Concert Series features free, live music on the front steps of Lakewood Public Library (15425 Detroit Avenue) in Downtown Lakewood from 7 to 9 p.m. for 10 consecutive Fridays. The series, which aims to foster Lakewood’s vibrancy while providing a family-friendly summer entertainment option, runs through August 30.
Week 7 is presented by Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council (NOPEC) and features a performance by Cats On Holiday. This roots-based “swamp pop” band has been pleasing audiences for nearly 20 years.
Cats On Holiday is based in Cleveland and has created its own special blend of Louisiana-inspired rock/roots/Zydeco music. The Cats have performed more than 100 gigs annually at some of the best live music venues from the Lake Erie Islands to Cape Cod.
Now in its ninth year, LakewoodAlive’s popular Front Porch Concert Series adds vibrancy and an enhanced sense of community to Lakewood’s urban core, drawing several thousand attendees annually.
