LakewoodAlive will host Knowing Your Home: Window & Door Repair on Thursday, October 22, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. as a virtual workshop. Join Matt Clark from LakewoodAlive for a workshop focused on wooden windows and doors. Learn best practices for maintaining these great assets in older homes.
Here at LakewoodAlive, we believe in keeping your original windows and doors in tip top shape for as long as possible. Not only do they provide a lovely historic feel, they were also built well and designed to keep your homes warm and cozy and have lasted at minimum 80 years.
 Matt will also cover interior and exterior door maintenance to make them weather tight as well as tips and tricks to make them open and close like a champ.
This workshop will also cover lead safe practices to ensure that you keep yourself and your family safe while anything from routine maintenance to larger repairs.

Knowing Your Home is an educational series focused on best sustainability and home maintenance practices empowering residents to tackle necessary repairs and improvements.
