The Lakewood Summer Meltdown, sponsored by Melt Bar and Grilled and presented by LakewoodAlive, returns for its 14th year this Saturday, July 16, from 4-10 p.m. in Downtown Lakewood.
The Summer Meltdown represents one of the region’s most anticipated street parties and draws more than 10,000 attendees from across Northeast Ohio to the heart of Lakewood. This fixture on our city’s summer calendar takes place on Detroit Avenue in Downtown Lakewood between Arthur and Marlowe. A “something for everyone” event, the Summer Meltdown offers seemingly endless recreation and celebration opportunities, including the Meltdown 5K race, 1 Mile Family Fun Run and Walk, street festival, beer garden, live music, food vendors, outdoor activities and more.
