Perseverance has defined LakewoodAlive’s path for the past fourteen months. Throughout the pandemic, we have continued to work daily to foster and sustain vibrant neighborhoods. At the heart of what we do is focusing on residents’ quality of life and supporting our small businesses.

Transition to Transform
Since early on in the pandemic, we have understood that quality of life events and service opportunities are more important than ever before. We focused on creativity and transitioned our events quickly and efficiently with success. Your previous support allowed us to adapt these cherished events and meaningful projects that kept our community connected and engaged at a time when it was needed most.

Over the past year, we’ve leveraged these events to create a sense of normalcy and connection with one another. We worked to celebrate our community through our traditions while transforming events to ensure health, safety and fun. We believed that it was important to stand up and show Lakewood how strong we are as a community, giving Lakewoodites hope and confidence that we would make it through this unprecedented time together.
Persevere to Thrive
We look forward to our Virtual Front Porch Concert Series that will bring nine dynamic bands right onto your front porch with a diverse mix of musical talent. Our Summer Meltdown 5K Race & Family Fun Run will be a hybrid event with both an in-person race and a virtual option. We will continue to evaluate our programming and host high-quality events, with a focus on health and safety that preserves tradition while connecting and strengthening our community.
