Sometimes the right music can make for the perfect transition into weekend mode. Such will be the case when Sync & Shuffle performs this Friday, July 31, during LakewoodAlive’s Virtual Front Porch Concert Series.
Sponsored by Bentley Wealth Management of Raymond James, the 2020 Front Porch Concert Series features eight musical performances hosted virtually via LakewoodAlive’s Facebook page on Friday evenings at 7 p.m. The series, which aims to foster Lakewood’s vibrancy while offering a safe, family-friendly entertainment option, runs through August 21.
Week 5 is presented by The Lakewood Music Collective and brings to the stage Sync & Shuffle for a fun, energetic performance to kick off your Friday evening.
Sync & Shuffle is a versatile local cover band known to delight crowds by performing songs that represent the “shuffle” playlist of a typical music lover. It’s like the shuffle feature on your favorite music streaming device, only in virtual concert form. The project is headed by Mike Abbadini, a Lakewoodite musician who participates in various local bands and teaches at The Lakewood Music Collective.
Now in its 10th year, the popular music series is taking on a different format to ensure health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, yet LakewoodAlive remains committed to enhancing Lakewood’s sense of community by offering free weekly concerts that families and all music lovers can enjoy.
