If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that you simply can never have enough cute pet photos.
LakewoodAlive announces the launch of Lakewood Post Your Pet, a community solidarity initiative designed to promote optimism and togetherness during the COVID-19 crisis, while offering Lakewoodites a convenient excuse to showcase their favorite furry friends.
Lakewood pet owners are asked to participate by sharing photos of your dog, cat, fish, rodent or reptile (among other common household pets) to the Lakewood Post Your Pet Facebook event using hashtags #LovingLakewood and #LakewoodPostYourPet.
If you’ve been enjoying the company of a companion who’s equal parts endearing, entertaining and lazy, show us your pet photos. Our favorite submissions will be featured on LakewoodAlive’s social pages during the next week.
“During this difficult time, many folks have found their pets to be a source of comfort,” said Ian Andrews, LakewoodAlive’s Executive Director. “As our latest community solidarity initiative, ‘Lakewood Post Your Pet’ is one more simple way we hope to give people a reason to smile.”
