We are in this together, Lakewoodites, and we want to ensure we stay connected with you during this uniquely challenging time.

LakewoodAlive announces it will host a Virtual Community Gathering on Tuesday, April 14, from 5 to 6 p.m. to serve as an organizational update and check-in with Lakewood residents.  Members of the community are invited to participate in this free webinar meeting by registering here.

Members of the LakewoodAlive staff will use this virtual meeting to provide a brief presentation regarding the following topics:

  • Our response to the COVID-19 pandemic, including our emphasis on supporting our small business community and leading community solidarity initiatives.
  • The latest updates regarding our Housing Outreach Program, including our ongoing efforts to ensure all residents live in healthy and safe homes, The Lakewood Tool Box and the Paint Lakewood Program.
  • Our approach to orchestrating community events during this uncertain time.

Participants in this virtual meeting will have the opportunity to ask questions, both during the presentation and at the end.

“We are pleased to offer this Virtual Community Gathering as a way to stay in touch with folks during this difficult time,” said Ian Andrews, LakewoodAlive’s Executive Director.  “We look forward to providing some timely updates regarding our response to this pandemic, as well as to fielding questions from participants.”

Please note that attendance for this webinar is limited, and community members are urged to register ahead of time if they wish to participate.  A recording of this community gathering will be shared at a later date.
