It’s gigantic, bright and ever-present.  Yet what can be done as homeowners to harness the power of that fiery sphere in the sky serving as Earth’s most important energy source?

LakewoodAlive and Third Sun Solar will host Knowing Your Home: Solar 101 on Thursday, May 30, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Buckeye Beer Engine (15315 Madison Avenue).  The sixth workshop of 2019 for this popular home maintenance educational series will shed light on energy derived from the sun, covering everything you need to know about solar power as it pertains to your home.

Led by David Zelasko, a Solar Consultant at Third Sun Solar’s Lakewood office, this workshop will address how solar power works, best practices to follow when selecting a solar contractor and the many benefits associated with leveraging this renewable resource for your home (environmental, economic, property values, etc.).

Solar energy systems are very customizable to each homeowner and business based on their energy usage and electricity provider.  Join us for this exciting workshop and learn how energy harnessed from the sun can impact your life.
